Blue4Youth Toolkit:

The Blue4Youth Toolkit is a dynamic empowerment resource developed under the “My Heart is Blue 4 Youth” project to enhance the role of young Europeans in promoting sustainable development, particularly within the blue (ocean-based) and green (land-based) economies. Aligned with the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027 and the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the toolkit positions youth as present-day stakeholders, not just future beneficiaries, advocating for environmental sustainability, social equity, and inclusive governance. It provides practical tools for civic engagement, policy participation, financial literacy, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) awareness, and entrepreneurship. Through workshops, hackathons, policy labs, and digital media initiatives, it strengthens youth leadership in combating climate change, fostering innovation, and influencing economic systems toward sustainability. Central to the toolkit are youth-led strategies for bridging the gap between local action and global goals, emphasizing empowerment, resilience, and participatory governance, with a strong focus on coastal, rural, and marginalized communities​.

Module 5: Climate Change, Oceans, and Intergenerational Justice
Learn how climate change affects oceans and communities, why it matters across generations, and how youth can lead the way through science, stories, and action.

Module 7: Youth Entrepreneurship in the Blue and Green Economy
